Spring Revel -- Applegate
May 8, 1982 (AS XVII)

From The Page (May, 1982):

The Shire of Applegate (Merced County on your mundane charts) celebrate the coming of May with a revel featuring a May Pole dance on Saturday, May 8 from 11 am to 6 pm. Other revel activities will include a box lunch auction, a quest, a courtesy contest and poetry and art contests.

The theme for the poetry contest is "Ode to Spring." Entries should be submitted to the Minister of Arts, c/o (contact info omitted). All poets and non-poets are invited to enter even if they cannot be present for the revel. The art contest will be on the spot. The revel is especially suitable for halflings.

The revel will be in a park behind the home of Wyomar XVIII (contact info omitted).
