From The Page (August, 1981):
In celebration of our region's plentiful harvest, the Household Ravenshore is hosting its Harvest Banquet on September 12 at the First Presbyterian Church (address omitted), Santa Rosa, California.
This will be a four remove, page-served culinary extravaganza, reflecting the wealth of our bountiful lands. A prize is offered for the best decorated table using a fall theme. Please provide your own utensils, including a separate soup bowl and platter. Alcohol is not permitted on the site, so beverages will be provided. Bring your banners to help decorate the hall.
The tickets cost $6 until August 15, when the price will go up to $7, so send in your money early to: Eadlyne Blackmaene the Lacrimosa (contact info omitted). For reservations received after August 15, the tickets will be held at the door.
We are looking for servers and entertainers who will receive a free dinner for their pains. Call Eadlyne (phone) for details.
Doors will open at 5 pm and dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 pm.
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
