Napa Spring Fair

April 26, 1982 (AS XVI)

Demonstration. The photo caption from the article in the Napa
Register reads:
"Napa Town and Country Fairgrounds resembled more of a medieval
battleground this weekend as combatants from The Society for
Creative Anachronism donned hard hats and other protection for
an exhibition at the Spring Fair. The society is devoted to
study of medieval culture. Members put on a show of dukes,
duchesses, bards and scribes."

In the picture is Geofrey of Griffenhold fighting William the
Lucky. Martialling, kneeling with his back to the camera is
Andrew of the Vine, while in the background is Gregory Falconheart.
