The Fifteenth Year

Curia - Principality of the Mists
June 25, AS XVI (1981)

From The Page (June, 1981):

In the medieval political sense the title "prince" denoted a sovereign and was applied to Kings, Queens, Princes, Princseses, or rulers of a duchy, county, or city-state. Therefore Sir Maythen of Elfhaven is Prince of the Mists, although she will use the title Princess. Their Highnesses Maythen and William will hold a curia on Thursday, June 25 to discuss the relative merits and the lessons learned from the Six-fold Tourney.

The populace is commanded to bring their ideas and opinions to the curia so that a way may be found to blend the best of tradition with the finest of innovation. Your Coronet Sovereign asks this gift of the Populace "for in this way only can honour, pleasure, and well-being abound in the land."
