The Third Annual Mists Spring Banquet will be held at 6 pm promptly on April 24, AS XVI at St. Mark's Episcopal Church (address omitted), Berkeley. The theme will be Robin & Marion in the Greenwood. The menu will be as follows:
Monk's bread, crocks of butter.
Golden pease porridge, hot.
Onion custard pye.
Robin's Poached fish.
Esau's mess of pottage (worth a birthright)
Spring meadow salat.
Prince John's Haunch.
Richard's curried boar.
Ginger pear conserve.
Savoury Grilled Sausage.
Maid Marion's verily home made cheeses.
Fresh glade strawberries.
Friar Tuck's best rosettes.
There will be barley water served, but bring any wines or ales you wish. Jongleurs & troubadors will entertain with song, jest & play. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $3.50 for children until 1 April and $8 / $4 thereafter.
Contests will be held for the best song or story about Robin, the best subtlety and the best table setting on this theme. Feel free to dress appropriately.
