The building will be open 8 a.m. Saturday.
Contests are: Tasty Tart, judged on authenticity and taste, prize: cookbook "To the Queen's Taste", Beasty Pastry (food sculpture beasty), prize: stationary by Olivia the Over-adorned, and Archery (a Royal Round). Prizes will be given for the most chivalrous fighter, the best death, and the bawdiest ballad at the Bardic Circle.
Signup for the lists is at 12 noon Saturday, lists open at one sharp. At the conclusion of the lists there will be a potluck feast, followed by the Ball. Visitors are encouraged to bring music for their favorite dances and share them. The Royal Round will be shot Sunday at 11 a.m.
Admission will be $1 to defray rent of the building. Descretion with alcohol is advised since it is illegal in the park. Also a punning tax is enforced in Wastekeep.
