From The Page (March, 1981):
Come celebrate spring and revel at the April Fool's Masque on April 4th in the Province of the Silver Desert. The local Equestrian Guild is hosting an event in which we invite you to attend in costume as anyone or anything of the Middle Ages. There will be prizes awarded for the prettiest and ugliest masks (male and female), most authentic, and most clever.
It will be an evening of dancing, revelling, and entertainment. A fee of $3 per person or $5 per couple will be charged to cover costs. Any extra monies raised will go toward the Equestrian Guild Tournament.
Masks will be for sale at the door for those who do not wish or do not have the time to make their own. Sleeping space is available however, arrangements must be made in advance.
For more information, contact: Mirielle de Ferrier or Tricia O'Ceallaigh (contact info omitted); or Rachel Katyana (contact info omitted).
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
