A two day Arts and Sciences Faire will be held during the Mists Coronetting festivities June 7 and 8 at Lone Mountain College, in the Province of St. Andrew (San Francisco). Events on Saturday, June 7 will include workshops, exhibits and sales of Society related crafts, along with workshops in marshalling and field heraldry. A donation to the Principality of 10% of all sales at the faire will be asked. The first Principality of the Mists newcomers' school will also be held.
In the evening, along with coronetting ceremonies, a full course Moroccan feast will be given, admission to which will be a meager $4.00.
On Sunday, June 8, there will be a List of Chivalry for the Princess' Champion, along with a period pot luck picnic. Several contests will be held during the faire, including baked goods, main dish for the Sunday picnic, heraldry for non-heralds, and best non-court (peasant or middle-class) costume.
