From The Page (July, 1980):
The College of St. Bunstable (University of Washington) is hosting a Summer Tourney and Masqued Ball to be held 19 & 20 July on the UofW campus in Seattle.
The tourney will feature prizes for the fighter with the best skill at arms and the most chivalrous fighter. Contests include: Renaissance footwear, knife (and shiriken) throwing, and heraldic design for the College. This last must include a Husky, the colours purple and gold, a St. Bunstable's cross, and a mug of beer as part of the design. Prizes to be announced.
The Masqued Ball will be lead by the winners of the tourney, royalty, and belted fighters. Live music will be provided as well as instruction in dancing. Masks will be available at the door for a nominal fee.
The quest is like a live D&D game and will feature dragons, water sprites, giant red trolls, and more.
