The Lord and Lady of the Swan will be invested as Prince and Princess of Cynagua on Saturday, 12 July, at the Senior Center in Turlock. This will not be an overnight event, but, since it will last until late in the evening, arrangements for informal lodging may be made through the autocrat, Mistress Shara ni Perran (contact info omitted). Such arrangements must be made in advance.

The Lord of the Swan, Rolf the Relentless, is a barbarian in service to Byzantium, so he has decreed a barbarian court (note, barbarian, not barbarous!). The time period is approximately 1050 to 1100; barbarian or Byzantine is appropriate.

The hall will open at noon on Saturday and close at 2 am Sunday. There will be arts events and period games in the afternoon. A pot-luck supper will commence at 4 pm; please bring a dish to serve 10. There is a kitchen available for warming food. The investiture will take place at 7 pm. There is a $2.00/person fee (children free) to be collected at the door.
