By command of the Sherrif, Richard of Castle North, the Shire announces its first annual Prize Tourney to be held on Saturday, 21 June at Nuuanu Park near Kaneohe, Hawaii. Events include Broadsword and shield, mace or axe and shield, Florentine, single sword, war archery, melee (no pole arms longer than 6'). Arts competitions are: Best Representation of a Dragon, original poem about a fighter, feed the masses (a recipe capable of feeding 30 to 40 people with reasonably medieval ingredients), best death of the day.
Lists open at 9 am with weapons inspection at 9:30. Th eMidsummer's Madness Revel will be held later in the evening. For more information, call the autocrats, Valeran do Pico (phone omitted) or Richard of Castle North (contact info omitted).
