From The Page (February, 1981):
We who wish to further the Courtly Graces invite all to attend a Court of Love to be held on February 21st, AS XV in the parish hall of St. Mary's by the Sea Episcopal Church, the corner of Central Avenue and 12th. in Pacific Grove, CA.
Any Ladies wishing to judge the questions of love and honor presented before the court will be welcomed by the autocrats. Others, perhaps wondering at the actions of a nameless Lord or Lady, may put forth the situations, either real or hypothetical, to the panel. Only judgements shall be made. There will be no sentencing.
Set-up will begin at 2:00 p.m., dancing at 3:00 (if the weather holds true) and the court to begin promptly at 4:30. Entertainments concerning the joys and sorrows of love will follow the feast, for which there will be a $3.00 per person fee. Please bring your own drink and utensils, and please make reservations.
For more information call Kevin Nighthawke or Eleanor Litorum at (phone) or write, (contact info omitted).
