From The Page (July, 1980):
Earl Steingrim Stallari and his lady, Lenora di Felice, will be invested as Prince and Princess of An Tir at this two-day celebration in McKiver State Park, southeast of Portland on the Clackamas River. The investiture will take place on Saturday, as will the tourney to choose the new Champion of An Tir. There will be a charge of $1.50/person for the site.
Incidentally, there is an overlook vista point from which there is a spectacular view of Mt St Helens, when the weather co-operates.
The Costumers Guild of the Barony of Three Mountains is sponsoring a competition for "Ornamented Armor Covering" at this event. This is to be a garment -- surcoat, cyclas, jupon, etc., -- normally worn over armour, and must be consistent with the period and style of the armour it covers. It should utilize such ornament as devices, part-colour, coats-of-arms, and other appropriate heraldic design. It will be judged on authenticity of line, suitability of materials, heraldic correctness, and workmanship. Time of judging to be announced.
