The new about-to-be-a-branch in the north, Selveirgard (Anchorage, AK) is holding the Midsummer Tournament where Selveirgard, Eskalya, and Wintersgate will compete for the title of Lord Defender of the North.

Annotations:

Um, reading this for the first time in many years -- Selveirgard has always been outside of Anchorage, AK. It is in the Matanuska Valley area (Palmer and the area around the town of Palmer), and not part of Anchorage. To folk not in Alaska (now Oertha, although that name was not being used at the time) this difference is not a big deal, but to those who lived (and still live) there it is actually a big difference. -- Hirsch von Henford (March, 2007, while updating the History site.)
