The prize for the lists at Egilstourney will be a Viking tool kit -- a wooden chest containing an assortment of Norse style tools, suitable for tourneys, campsites, and the like. Prizes for the Norse costume contests will be: 1. Men's -- a cloak brooch; 2. Women's -- a decorative comb; 3. Children's -- a copy of D'Aulaire's Norse Gods and Goddesses. Crafts contests will be: 1. Metalwork (should be primarily forge work) -- prize is a small (30-40 lb) rail type anvil; 2. Jewelry/decorated metal (no ferrous metals -- prize is a copy of The Making of Tools; 3. Woodwork (unlimited) -- prize is a copy of The Making of Tools.
Also, since there were no entries in the Twelfth Night jewelry contest this contest will be continued to Eglistourney. Meyamoto Tsukikage will give the prize of four pair (each different) of matched stones. The jewelry must be metalwork in the form of a mythical beast.
