Southern Shores' Tournament and potluck feast will be held on Saturday, December 2nd. Set-up will begin at 10 am on Roble Field at Stanford University (see map) and the lists will begin at noon with a series of melees. A wounds-retained elimination lists will be fought for a prize. There will also be English country dancing, a giant tug-of-war and other merriment. Lord Eudaimon of Alexandros will offer a prize for the best pastry or other baked delicacy on the field that day.
In the evening, a revel and potluck feast in honor of the feast of St. Nicholas will occur at the Escondido Village Center (again see map). Bring a dish to serve six, or enjoy the cookery of the Province for a donation of 200 pence. Mead and mulled cider will raise the spirits of the company. Everyone is encouraged to bring a small ($2.50 or less) gift for a gift exchange. There will be Renaissance court dancing with music by the Flexer Consort.
