Feast of Fools & Tournament -- Shire of the Western Sea
April 1, 1978

From The Page (March, 1978):

There will be a tournament in the Shire (soon to be a Barony) on April 1. It will be held at Kamanele Park in Honolulu, Hawaii (yes, people, there is going to be a BARONY in Hawaii!). The Champion of the tournament will receive a prize of arms or armour.

There will also be CONTESTS: BEST COSTUME (Lord and Lady -- each will receive a goblet as prize); and BEST DESSERT (prize to be announced).

This will be followed by a Banquet (site tba). Tickets cost $4.50/per person up to 2 weeks prior to April 1, and $6.00/per person less than two weeks prior. Payments MUST be made PRIOR to th etourney date. (The tournament will cost 50cents, payable at the site.)
