Royal Baskets

Lyrics by Frederick of Holland, Branwen Crychthegn,
Ivone PonsLeyr and Leah Raedaelf of Pagham

(To the Tune of: The 12 Days of Christmas)

In the first Royal basket, some kingdom gave to me:

A soap made of sage and comfrey.

     (Two home-brewed beers…)

     (Three woven bookmarks…)

     (Four needle cases…)

     (Five onyx rings…)

     (Six epic poems…)

     (Seven fancy napkins…)

     (Eight tiny cordials…)

     (Nine tins of aspirin…)

     (Ten scented sachets…)

     (Eleven dozen candles…)

     (Twelve jars of mustard…)

(There were no more royal baskets, for no-one else was there.  Still, we got....
... and we fear what UPS might still bring.)
