In forums on the Internet, there's a growing feeling of discontent
With information sources that are incomplete
The same old tired arguments repeat and repeat.
The skeptics say “There’s no land in view,”
But, they haven’t watched all the leads fall through;
It’d be such an ignorant thing to do
To believe we don’t want land bought too.

The permits we need for the land do not come readily to hand;
A parcel we could use for our large events
Is useless to us if the neighbors take offense.
We share the same goal honestly,
Regardless of what they choose to see.
We’re doing all that we can do
Since all of us here want some land bought too.

We’re searching for a parcel that is flat and clear;
Acres zoned for our use that are close to here.
There’s no such thing as a lead we’ll ignore,
It’s a lie we shouldn’t hear anymore—
Yet the cynics say we will defraud you,
I don't subscribe to this point of view;
Believe me when I say to you
That all of us want land bought too.

We share the same goal honestly
Regardless of what they choose to see
What more is there that we don’t do-
To prove we want the land as much as you?
