Nature's Color Palette.

"This beautiful color photo appeared in the newspaper (The Contra Costa Times) as part of a piece about regional parks nearly a year earlier. One look at the colors and subject as I immediately put it aside as a reference piece for the winter hills of the West Kingdom (northern California). The newsprint has faded somewhat but is still a very good guide for the colors needed in the landscapes of the scrolls for Rose and Juan. Here are the colors of the Principality of the Mists (white, blue, green)." -- Tatiana Nikolaevna Tumanova
