"I was asked to do this scroll by the Chancellor of Scribes;
the recipient was not known to me. I was beginning to experiment
with the composition and layout of the generic award scroll at
this point, being more confident of the elements which were
required. It didn't turn out too bad, although if I were doing
it now I would re-arrange the castle to move the tallest tower
over to the margin, and would probably make the letter 'K' occupy
a position on the banner, instead of being fouled of it. I found
out the hard way and after the fact that the emblazon sheet submitted
to the College of Heralds, which I used to do my drawing of the Arms,
did not agree with how the recipient wanted his Arms depicted. On
future scrolls I always went by what the recipient had on their banner
or shield (if allowed by the blazon), not just what was on their
submission sheet." -- Tatiana
