How Do You Do Your Drawings?
I prefer to work from photographs or actual life where possible. I'm just not one of those artists who can make things up out of their head. That is, I can do it -- but the objects depicted just seem to lack the breath of life. They don't convince anybody, least of all me. I really envy those folks who can pull that trick off.

But you work within your limitations, so here's all of the images I used in one way or another to make up the composition of this scroll.
