Joanne of Puffincliff's Duchess scroll,
by Tatiana Nikolaevna Tumanova
"This was a rush job as it had to be done prior to the end
of the reign. William the Lucky requested my services.
Unfortunately the photo chops off the design at the left-hand
side, which had a nifty pen-work lion's head worked into it.
I re-used the mantling I found for Katherine of Bristol's Viscounty
scroll. I didn't know Joanne and had no idea of her preferences,
except for instructions about the position of the puffin's feet,
which didn't leave me much to go on, hence this rather 'generic'
scroll. The red rose emblematic of the Order of the Rose was used
to anchor the mantling at the top. The composition is a standard
two-part balance -- large picture on top balanced by a block of
text on bottom." -- Tatiana
