Baby, I Love Your Alien Eyes
A close-up of the miniature in the same state. The darker areas have been left unpainted; the first coat of flesh tone has been applied to the figure, except for the eye area. The irises have not yet been painted in, which leaves a rather weird effect. The gold leaf of the coronet has not yet been given any detail. A warm green is being used on the peash tree to offset the hard cold black, and I knew that Aricia's under dress was going to be blue as well. -- Tatiana Nikolaevna Tumanova
