Color Me Blue
Cobalt Blue, diluted with Permanent White and a hint of Cadmium Orange (to dull it down a trifle)
was used to paint the sky. Lines of this were laid down across the sky to give it a streaky look,
thicker towards the horizon line of the hills, which were left unpainted (black). While the
Cobalt Blue was out on the palette, work was also begun on the Arms. The blue roses are being
painted in with their green sepals, but there's no real details as yet. The horse is still an
unpainted silhouette.
