Chryse Raptes, Court Baroness Scroll by Maria del Norte
Maria del Norte |
Notes:
"This piece was done on a piece of vellum that was warped that I decided to dye with oak gall ink
(it is based off Das Schwarze Gebetbuch found in the Codices Illustres). The Baroness it was done for
had autocrated and feastocrated events, had learned calligraphy, and taught dancing. She lived (in the Far West)
where they gave fan shells, jade and dragons as tokens.
And she wrote a newsletter which was called the Chrysanthemum. I incorporated as much information as she gave as I could into this piece. I also included a bit of her device on the floor(vairy)." -- Maria del Norte
