"Format, border and dragon from Visconti Hours.
     Pergamenata with Higgins Black Magic, gold leaf and gouache. My first attempt at a figure, and I cheated by making a closed face helm. :) Though to be fair, it's not far from Parlan's actual helm, and the armor is definitely modeled off of his - I actually sketched it at a fighter practice. The motto around the capital is that of the Company of St. George, the mottos around the frame are those of Parlan and Arianwen (his lady wife)." -- Eliška z Jihlavy
