History: The Shire of Cloondara was originally the Province of St. Andrew's. This group broke up for reasons not known by the person maintining this history, and was reformed later as Cloondara.
St. Andrew's: "I was the original seneschal of St. Andrew. It basically ran for several years and finally broke up due to a lack of members and our general inability to get much organized. In the end, all of us that formed it were not really a cohesive group and went our separate ways. It was much easier to just drive across the bay and go to events there."
"We did do a couple of nice bardic type events at one of the bars in San Francisco, though I can't for the life of me remember the name of the bar. It had a sort of Irish decour as I recall." -- Steven MacEanruig
