Upon a fair and sunny Beltane day
A group of merrymakers did convene
Great warriors entered in a joyous fray
That one of them might name their Lady Queen

Crowned with Flowers, our first Queen so fair
And noble King told stories in his hall
Those first few revelers, thank god they did dare
To craft a world that so inspires all

To Maytime royals do I gift my prose
To Western King, and by His side, His Rose
