I raise up praise for the Raven's Daughter,
         fierce-hearted and free!
whose songs, sailing, strike the mark
         deft as her darts in war.
Wean of the West, now woman-grown,
         she's kept the land in her care;
Prince and province have profited
         from seasons of her service.
Heedful of history, herald full-throated,
         schooled in law as in lore,
wielding her words as well, say I,
         as the constable's club she'sheld.
Uther and Osa -- honor to them!
         and the Peers of the Pelican Order!
who willed to welcome this one among them
         Margrethe, Mistlands' pride!
