Our Queen armored on the field resplendent
The knight of d’Arundel at her side
As well her Guard, the West’s un-knighted pride
The red headed Captain with her banner presented
The Duchess, the Brute, the blood soaked Macedonian
The fierce Badger, the Spearman and the singing Scot
The Bard, the Roman and the men of Sigurgat
When the West under threat from the Northern Lion
To An Tir her majesty led the charge
Though the death and the loss from that war were great
Those left followed their King and his mighty Queen
With rebel allies against Imperial might would charge
To wrestle and strive against glorious Fate
To fight and to die for our King and Warrior Queen
In the style of a Petrarchean Sonnet.
