The Black Swan's Song
by
Oisin mac Uislenn
Fall Coronet, AS XXIX

Behold the rising of the Black Swan's land
With heart and strength and might and zeal
Together the children of the Swan do band
With honour's strength and warrior's steel

With our enemies we do deal
To protect our principality
From those our land would surely steal
Our Hearts in this land shall always be

The children of Apollo's song are we
The Swan's sweet song we live
And her might and glory we do see
As our loyalty we freely give

To this our land, Cynagua strong
The progeny of the Black Swan's Song.

"This is the traditional piece about the war prowess of Cynagua. Spenserian Sonnett." -- Oisin mac Uislenn
