In Praise of Geoffrey Scott (Part III)
Leah Raedaelf of Pagham
Mists Investiture, May 15, AS XXXIX (2004)

No-one to fight with, left all alone,
Iíve had to sit out- itís time to give up this Throne!
Then back in armor; my fighting day isnít through.

Iíve time to make up for, while watching you play,
Iíve had to sit idle, no chance to wade in the fray.
Now back to armor; my fighting day isnít through.

Dust off my shield, Iíll find the field,
War seasonís near- my time of year!
Iíve months of fights missed left to make upóBelieve me!

So, one-twenty battles, the last Geoffrey War,
Iíll be back in practice, so come out to play once more.
Iím back in armor; my fighting day isnít through.
