I am the unicorn, I am the rose,
And I am the deeds You have seen.
I am each champion, willing to fall,
And I have stood guard for my Queen.

I am an Orkney, You loaned me Your shield,
And I am the war-band You claimed.
I am the honor You hold ever true-
I stand by Your side unashamed.

I am true fealty, lived out in full;
In vigil, You taught me to trust.
I am the pennant and I am the sword
And I am the word that is just.

I am each warrior out on the field,
I follow wherever You lead,
I am the rider who’s outshone the sun,
And I am the hungry You feed.

I am the needle, the pearls and the thread,
And I am a coin from Your hand.
I am the arrow, the blade, and the pen-
My life I’ve lived at Your command.

A child in Oertha, I sang for my Queen;
A harper, You gave me a rose.
I am the traveler You’ve welcomed home,
And the newcomer no-one yet knows.

I am the flowers You gave Calontir,
And I’m the war banner of gold.
I am the one always there at Your side,
And I am the child that You hold.

I am each Laurel inspired to craft,
The Pelicans serving my land,
I am the chain that was never annealed,
And I am the strength You demand.

I am the knight whose heart clings to the West,
Though my home may no longer West be.
I am the wounds between friends that You’ve healed,
And I am the tears that flowed free.

I am each Prince that You’ve counseled so well,
It’s on Your hands My oaths were sworn.
I am the mountains, the snow and the sea;
I am the rose and its thorn.

I am the silent voice that You could hear:
Of honor, of courage, of pain.
I am the sorrow, the joy and the pride,
For I am the Kingdom You reign.

I am the fire light’s gleam in the dark,
And I am the songs that we sing.
Yes, I am the one who is blessed most of all-
For I-- I am the Bard for my King.
