September, AS XXXVI (2001)
(Words by Leah Raedaelf of Pagham,
to the tune of ‘Go the Distance’ from Disney’s Hercules.)

(1) Kneel before thy King
          (2) Here do I swear
(1) Give thy solemn word
          (2) By mouth and hand

(Both) Fealty and service to the Crown of the West
To speak or not, to do or hold
To come or go, to strike or to spare
To serve the realm in times of need or plenty
In peace or war, through living or in death
Until world’s end, released by my King
I will serve my Kingdom, I make my promise now

(2) Kneel before my King
          (1) In fealty and service
(2) Give my solemn word
          (1) Spoken clear and strong

(Both) History will show when I’ve faced my tasks
That I’ve served through all my days, the Kingdom of the West

"Performed first at Ducal in competition, then in court where both the King and Queen cried. J Performed at Their request for Invocation, October Crown AS XXXVI)." -- Ivone Pons Leyr
