First among warriors our new prince has proven
His prowess and chivalry out on the field
Greet him with cheers and with glad exultations
Admire the might of the sword that he wields

First among ladies our princess is shining
A sweet inspiration to lord and to land
People rejoice for your homes and your kindred
Are safe in the shelter of her loving hand
