Love Song for Cynagua

Tune: My Lagan Love, traditional

When winter's chill falls on the land
And bitter winds are blowing
I still can sense beneath the ice
Where flowers shall be growing
And in the midst of winter's cold
My heart still is warmed
O Cynagua, land I love
This country is my home

When summer's glow has cast its light
On woods and meadows green
When all the beauty of our land
Is now revealed to me
I think of winters still to come
Of summers that shall be
O Cynagua, land I love
My heart belongs to thee

The swans' wings beat across the sky
As autumn's leaves do fall
The birds begin their winter flight
I hear their wild calls
And as the land returns to sleep
I know that spring shall come
O Cynagua, land I love
This country is my home
