Duncan Vitrarius
Berengaria de Montfort of Carcassonne
September 26-28, 2003 (AS XXXVIII)
(Mists Fall Coronet -- A Fighter Poem)

‘Twas sun eclipst forest
When Duncan’s sword first fell
And Allen and Artus
Fell silent as well

Then Camville’s swift blade
Dealt Vitrarius keen blows;
But Moira’s sweet presence
Sent him back to face foes.

Two icy-pale Norsemen
‘Neath the sun’s rays did melt
And the Hammer of Krom
‘Gainst Duke Fabian was felt.

To Leohtulf, silver warrior
Did Duncan last fall;
But among the day’s heroes,
He feasts in their hall.
