The Saga of Uther and Kára On The Occasion of Their Coronation

Antonio Giordano da Sicilia
Twelfth Night Coronation (January), 2010 (A.S. XLIV)

Uther King, West Crown captures
Destroyer, dread bringer of death
Sword bloody, sings Tyr's song,
Raven flocks feast on fat flesh
Laurels bind His lofty brow
His throne sits in the hall of heroes
Lover of Tyr, leader of warriors fierce
Lover of Freya, called to love's hearth
Kára captures his heart, Queen of His hall
Roses grace Her brow, eyes of ocean blue
Harvest of gold, Sif's hair crowns Her
Kára's beauty, boundless and breathtaking
Strong of spirit, stout of heart
Her grace, Idunn's gift
Kára is His song, she is His soul
