"A bad case of writer's block for Bard's Choice [Pelican piece] resulted in nothing, except a *really* bad filk of Sammy Davis Jr's "Candyman". I informed Julianna [of Tregony] that I thought my selection was...a tad painful...and would prefer not to perform it. She suggested that I could try to come up with something else - think of it as "three words from a hat", where one of the words was Pelican. Thankfully, it worked. Whew.
