The Awards and Honors listed below are ones that are granted by the Coronet of Oertha. A few are specific to the Princess (Princess' Riband, etc.), but most recognitions are granted by both the Prince AND Princess of Oertha. Several early Oerthan awards were put into Oerthan law before Oertha became a full Principality, in anticipation of that status, and Lord Defenders/Ladies of the Snows gave them out before the first Principality tournament.

| (NOTE: The Princess' Escort was actually created by Bernadette de Faiirskiie, in her time as Lady of the Snows. She created the Princess' Escort with a different name -- The Janissaries, based on some reading she had done about the Ottoman Empire. The original ceremony had the members of the Janissaries/Guard/Escort being asked if they accepted the duty, with the response being: "There is no answer but “Yes”!". This is still in the ceremony. When it was explained by the Heralds in central Kingdom that a Janissary was a eunich, among other things, it was quickly decided to stop using the term. It became the Princess' Guard for awhile, but eventually settled in as The Princess' Escort. There are no listings of members of the Janissaries/Princess' Guard prior to Denise' Guard, who was the last Lady of the Snows of Oertha.) | |
