"A morse is large cloak clasp, often regal or 'churchy' in nature. This pair was made as a gift to the Crowns of Lochac (at their very inception) from the Crowns of the West. We were honored to be the jewelers asked to contribute as being asked to be part of history is pretty flattering.

"Cloisonne by me [Diane], all sterling metalwork by Mark. Techniques include raising, chasing, soldering, riveting & cloisonne enamel. Also making the tools and drawing the wire for the projects. We actually did buy the sheet, though -- everything else was custom drawn with steel plates etc." -- Diane de Winchester
