The coat worn by the Bard of the West. Modelled by Catherine de Grey at the end of her tenure,
created by Wander Riordan. "It has the colors of green, tan, purple, blue, yellow, black and
red with the demi-suns of the West on the arms (I assume this is an effort to include the historic
"6 colors" of the bards of Ireland, but I don't know for sure why the colors chosen were used).
I'm not sure of the fabric itself, but I believe it is a synthetic/ polyester, judging by feel.
The body of the coat is very full and has fit a variety of sizes (look at all the past Bards);
the sleeves are made super long, we ladies generally have had to roll them up. It is definitely
a warm coat, suited for cooler weather." -- Catherine de Grey
