Laurel Medallion made Anne of Bradford by Hirsch von Henford.
I tried something that has never worked quite right each time
I've done it, and it's not as clean as I'd like here, either --
and that is to do a marriage of metals for a sheet -- in other
words, two metals soldered together to form a single sheet.
The problem I usually have doing this is that I overheat the metals
and the solder flows a bit too much, and I get solder on the surface.
The idea was good, the execution wasn't as good as it should have
been. I couldn't figure a good way to get a chicken inside the laurel
wreath, so I tried this instead. The scratches are from trying to clean
the solder off ... -- Hirsch
